Job Description Summary

  • Oversee end-to-end import/export processes, including booking containers, tracking shipments, and optimizing transportation routes to reduce costs.
  • Prepare, verify, and process documentation, including Bills of Entry, Packing Lists, Invoices, and Certificates of Origin. Ensure strict compliance with DGFT, customs, and FEMA regulations.
  • Liaise with Custom House Agents (CHA) and authorities to resolve clearance issues and expedite cargo movement.
  • Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with shipping lines, airlines, and logistics providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, analyze inventory levels, and prepare reports on logistics performance.
  • Manage all processes and functions within logistics department right from ordering to dispatch and invoicing
  • Managing entire order processing activities including planning, requirement analysis & resource management to execute order to meet the committed delivery schedule
  • Lead the logistics cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement project.
  • Handled the DGFT license, incentive schemes, customs compliance and international Logistic activity.
  • Interface with Regional and Global Logistics team and business divisions to ensure the alignment with organization objective.

Job Description:

Required Skills and Education

  • Supply chain / Material Procurement experience 10~13 years.
  • Experience in Automotive MNC is preferred
  • Knowledge of SCM systems, manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (IATF-16949) and its techniques.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001.

Proficient in English and Local language.
