The Digital Platforms team manages key platform programs, mainly: CapitaStar, CapitaStar for Business, CapitaVoucher and CapitaStar@Work. The team focuses on driving business sustainability through profitability and value whilst injecting innovation & creation of seamless customers’ experiences for CapitaLand’s commercial, retail businesses, shopping malls, merchant and partner networks.

This is a great opportunity for a high caliber Business Development professional experienced in propagating interesting solutions and products to retailers and enterprises; this individual will assist in solutions consulting & business advisory with a large untapped market to go after. This role will report to the Team Lead of Business Development.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling solutioning products to partners and retailers

  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold-calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence

  • Seek out and develop long-term relationships with potential, new and existing strategic partners and retailers

  • Structure and negotiate commercial deals that contribute to positive and sustainable business outcomes for Digital Platforms

  • Drive key business development initiatives from creation of new revenue streams to implementation of new solutions

  • Manage multiple project timelines to implement campaigns for partners and retailers

  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including product, tech, analytics, legal, marketing, operations and finance to launch partner and retailer campaigns

  • Provide end-to-end partner and retailer support by being the main point of contact and proactively resolving any business or technical issues

  • Track, analyse and communicate key quantitative trends related to the business

  • Initiate reviews with partners and retailers, and strategise on how to further optimize results and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field

  • At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, selling Merchant Solutions or Media Advertising Solutions

  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and think creatively about partnership opportunities

  • Target-driven and proven self-starter with the ability to deliver targets in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, high tenacity, and is comfortable with working in a collaborative and dynamic environment

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail

  • Passionate about technology trends, retail solutions and experiences
