Job Description

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering activities including design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply and system reliability.
  • Plan and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, motors, and control systems to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
  • Develop and review electrical project specifications, drawings, and cost estimates to ensure compliance with industry standards and Adani’s quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis for electrical faults or failures, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, instrumentation, and operations to integrate electrical solutions seamlessly within the overall plant infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices in electrical work, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate hazards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external agencies for procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment, ensuring timely project execution and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor electrical system performance using SCADA or other monitoring tools, analyze data trends, and recommend energy-efficient solutions to optimize operational costs.
  • Lead and mentor junior electrical engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, training, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Support the implementation of renewable energy projects and integration of sustainable electrical practices aligned with Adani’s commitment to green energy and environmental stewardship.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate management decision-making.
  • Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and best practices in electrical engineering to maintain Adani’s competitive edge in the Power/Energy sector.
  • Participate actively in cross-departmental meetings and project reviews to align electrical engineering objectives with business goals and timelines.
  • Champion Adani’s core values of integrity, safety, innovation, and sustainability in all work activities and team interactions.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized university. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
