Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC, a subsidiary of Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC, was incorporated on 19th April 2004 and is licensed by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Finance Business Act No. 42 of 2011.

We invite applications for the position of Assistant Manager – Credit at our Head Office.

Job Profile

• Evaluate, structure, and prepare credit proposals for Board approval.
• Review and approve credit proposals (Corporate, SME, and Retail) within delegated authority.
• Support credit assessments and risk evaluations to ensure sound credit decisions and portfolio quality.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Credit Committee review and approval.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies.
• Assist in developing and updating credit policies and risk management tools.
• Supervise team members to maintain high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with branch teams and the Credit Committee to facilitate approvals.

Candidate Profile

• Age below 35 years.
• Successful completion of GCE Advanced Level (A/L).
• A degree or part/full professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CIM, ACA, CA, AAT, or IBSL is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience at executive or managerial level within a licensed commercial bank or finance company.
• Prior exposure to credit/credit services is essential.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala is required.
