Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As the Assistant Manager - Commercial at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the comprehensive commercial operations cycle tailored specifically for our corporate and institutional clientele.

Your stewardship will ensure seamless coordination across departments, driving accuracy in pricing, billing, fund management, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

You will collaborate closely with teams from Sales, Customer Success Management, Finance, Pricing, and Plant Operations to streamline billing processes and optimise revenue recognition timelines.

8. Refunds, Adjustments and Returns

9. Price Parity and Claims Handling

10. Commercial Compliance and Controls

11. CRTM Readiness & Final Billing Coordination

This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and an ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders effectively to deliver timely and compliant commercial operations that facilitate the company’s overall business objectives.

Education Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM (Finance, Sales, Operations or Strategy) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business

General Experience

4-5 years of experience in corporate commercial operations / sales support / billing & pricing

Critical Experience

  • Strong commercial acumen and pricing knowledge. Expert in Excel & SAP
  • Expertise in corporate billing, fund reconciliation, and MIS reporting
  • Knowledge of pricing elements, B2B pricing,and audit requirements
  • Strong coordination skills across Sales, Finance, CSM, Pricing, and Plant teams
  • High attention to detail, compliance orientation, and process discipline
