Job Description

In line with our business expansion, we would like to invite qualified and candidates to fill the following position at FGV Kernel Products Sdn Bhd

Compliance with Government Acts and Regulations.

  • Knowing and understanding all acts and regulations of the government and authorities.
  • Ensuring the factory complies with all acts and regulations of the government and authorities.

Operational Control.

  • Organize and ensure the factory runs smoothly with the desired throughput and efficiency.
  • Ensure oil loss through PKE does not exceed specification.
  • Ensuring that every PK lorry to be accepted is checked / graded. Appropriate action (PK acceptance procedure) needs to be made on lorries that carry PK with quality that does not meet specifications.
  • Checking the daily operation report (daily figure) and daily cost report to be sent to the respective Head Office before 9.00 am and 2.00 pm.
  • Ensuring the quantity & quality of produce stock (PK, PKE & CPKO) is always under control. The stock position must be checked daily.

Maintenance

  • Plan, prepare and coordinate all plant maintenance which includes Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance Condition Monitoring Maintenance

Cost Control

  • Ensure work order and spare parts expenditures are effectively controlled within the approved budget allocation.
  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain monthly work order records and control documentation.
  • Conduct monthly maintenance cost analysis to monitor operational efficiency and cost performance.
  • Coordinate machinery operations and maintenance scheduling to achieve targeted Machine Downtime (MD) and energy efficiency performance (kWh/mt) in line with KPI requirements.

Safety & Health

  • Ensure safety regulations are followed from time to time.
  • Ensuring the work area is always clean, tidy and safe.
  • Identify unsafe machine, machinery and environment conditions and take corrective action promptly.
  • Ensuring safety reports are sent according to schedule to Headquarters.
  • Ensuring that the regulations and acts of the authorities are complied with.
  • Report accidents and disasters to headquarters immediately.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain valid practicing certification and registration with Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM).
  • Ensure all laboratory activities comply with statutory and audit requirements.

Laboratory Operations Management

  • Manage daily laboratory operations and analytical activities.
  • Oversee sampling, testing, calibration, and verification processes.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Establish and monitor laboratory SOPs, quality controls, and documentation.

Certificate of Analysis (COA) & Quality Assurance

  • Review, validate, and sign Certificate of Analysis (COA) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and traceability of analytical results.
  • Monitor product quality compliance to meet customer and regulatory specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances.

Regulatory & Audit Coordination

  • Serve as the focal point during inspections, audits, and engagements with JKNS, MOH, and related authorities.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions arising from audit findings or regulatory observations.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance records and reports for management review.
