Job Purpose:The job purpose of a Shift Engineer - Diffusion in cell maintenance is to manage and optimize the diffusion process. This includes overseeing equipment operation, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement to ensure efficient production of high-quality solar cells.

Print line Machine Management and Operation:

• Operate and maintain diffusion machines to ensure efficient and precise Print line processes for semiconductor production.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting:

• Address and resolve Print line machine breakdowns promptly, analyzing issues to prevent future occurrences.

Process Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize Print line processes to ensure consistent and high-quality production of solar cells.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):

• Implement CAPA plans promptly for major breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution and putting preventive measures in place to minimize downtime.

Quality Control:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications during the diffusion process.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance and operational activities.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.

Team Leadership and Training:

• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the diffusion area.

• Lead of Cell Maintenance

• Other Shift Engineers within the same cluster

• Equipment Suppliers
• Maintenance Contractors

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech/ Diploma – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
• Desired Qualification : BE/BTech

Work Experience (Range of years):

• Min 2 - 5 years of experience in diffusion processes in solar cell manufacturing, including optimizing parameters, troubleshooting, and ensuring product quality.
