Purpose of Role

The Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing is responsible for delivering Brand, PR, Social, Retail, and Sports Marketing activations across the Pacific market. This person acts as the local brand custodian, protecting the brand point of view while ensuring campaigns are relevant, consistent, and commercially impactful. They will manage which assets are taken to market from Global and APAC, guide local creative requirements, and project-manage local content and campaign delivery. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams, agency partners, and internal and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive GTM plans across brand, sport, social, retail, and account moments. With a strong focus on executional excellence, creative judgement, stakeholder alignment, and KPI measurement, this role helps bring the Under Armour brand to life for athletes and consumers in market.

Your Impact

Brand, Campaign and GTM Management
• Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of Brand, PR, Social, Retail, and Sports Marketing activations across the Pacific market.
• Act as the local brand custodian, ensuring all campaigns, creative assets, and consumer touchpoints are consistent with the Under Armour brand point of view.
• Manage which assets are taken to market from Global and APAC, and identify local creative requirements to ensure market relevance and commercial impact.
• Lead the go-to-market process for brand-led activity, ensuring clear briefs, timelines, deliverables, asset lists, budgets, approvals, and stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor campaign performance, report progress to key stakeholders, and apply learnings to improve future launches.

Local Content, Social and Sports Marketing Activations
• Project manage local content and campaign delivery, including creative development, production timelines, approvals, and execution.
• Support social media content planning, channel management, and influencer programs to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and brand standards.
• Support retail and eCommerce moments that drive traffic, elevate the consumer experience, and premiumise the brand through strong creative assets, copy selection, and local production.
• Oversee Sports Marketing activations, including athlete, partner, and event moments that add value to broader brand initiatives.

Stakeholder, Agency and Cross-Functional Management
• Manage agency partners and internal and external stakeholders, providing clear briefs, timely updates, and direction to ensure delivery against campaign objectives.
• Partner with internal teams and agency partners to manage project costs, agency scopes, production requirements, and delivery timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Sales, Retail, eCommerce, Planning, and Merchandise to deliver cohesive GTM plans.
• Facilitate alignment meetings, creative reviews, and leadership approvals to ensure briefs, content, integrated marketing plans, and budgets stay on track.
• Work with the broader Marketing team and cross-functional partners to align campaign calendars, asset requirements, product seeding, and key launch milestones.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in sport, retail, consumer goods, or a related brand-led environment.
  • Experience producing and delivering large-scale integrated brand campaigns, including local content and creative production.
  • Proven experience managing complex stakeholder groups across internal teams, external partners, and cross-functional business functions.
  • Experience leading agency partners, including briefing, feedback, scope management, and delivery against timelines and budgets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong brand marketing judgement, with the ability to protect brand standards while adapting creative and campaign plans for local market relevance.
  • A strong creative eye, with the ability to assess creative assets, copy, and campaign ideas through both a brand and consumer lens.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, timelines, budgets, and approvals simultaneously.
  • A confident and clear communicator who can write strong briefs, provide direction, influence stakeholders, and keep teams aligned.
  • Self-motivated, agile, and proactive, with the ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and keep work moving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A genuine passion for sport, athletes, and building the Under Armour brand.
