About the Role

- Provide day-to-day BAU BPC support to LBUs using SAP
- Ensure solutions are consistent with regional template and ensure regional solution architecture team is aligned.

- Perform BAU Activities – Incident and Service Request:

  • Perform diagnosis / investigation / troubleshooting.

  • Perform configuration changes/ fixes or work closely with vendors where necessary to resolve incident.

  • Manage all assigned SNOW ticket pertaining to enquiries and incident and deliver according to SLA target.

- Perform BAU Activities – Change Request:

  • Develop & update Change Scope Analysis (CSA) and documentation (i.e. Functional Specification Documentation (FSD)).

  • Perform configuration / code changes & Unit Test (including coordination with 3rd party where necessary).

  • Prepare test scenarios & acceptance criteria.

  • Inform on readiness for Regression Test / Production deployment

  • Prepare & submit Change Deployment Template.

  • Close ticket upon successful Production deployment OR Close ticket upon receiving successful-deployment-confirmation from Integration Manager.

  • Perform Post Deployment Validation.

- Perform BAU activities as per defined in accordance with GASC USC-Finance operational policy (i.e. Complexity Matrix, Standard Operating Procedure) which are generally of moderate to complex scenarios.
- Ensure solutions are consistent with regional template.
- Positive collaboration with all stakeholders on BAU related matters.
- Support end users in system usage and assist in raising overall SAP proficiency of the end user base and act as a GASC USC-Finance ambassador.
- Provide training to end users.
- Participate in project activities with mainly on BPC focus.
- Support BPC technical activities such as data extraction, data manager package and package link, input and output templates.
- May require short term travel, standby and shift arrangements.
- Supporting Team Manager on work assignments as per required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Accounting equivalent is required.

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience in regional solution / system support with SAP BPC focus across the APAC region.

  • At least 3 end to end project implementation experience in BPC will be added advantage.

  • Applied accounting / business knowledge in SAP BPC 10.0/ BPC 2021 system.

  • Proven business analysis experience with end-to-end Consolidations functions.

  • Good understanding of Budgeting and Forecasting processes.

  • Configuration experience with BPC (or comparable) consolidation tools.

  • Working knowledge of SAP BW is preferred.

  • Knowledge of the SAP FICO modules and ANAPLAN will be added advantage.

  • Experience with hands-on BPC functional, technical design and configuration is a must.

  • Strong VBA experience & excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel functions is preferred.

Certifications/licenses

  • Relevant SAP certification.
