The Assistant Manager, Casino Beverage is responsible for supporting the overall operation of beverage services within a casino environment. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, efficient service delivery, compliance with liquor regulations, and effective management of beverage staff and inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building andretainingguest relations and acts as a mentor to team membersin order toprovide superior guest service.

  • Hires, motivates,evaluatesand supervises front-of-the-house staffin order toensure team members receive adequate guidance and resources toaccomplishestablishedobjectives

  • Responsible formoraleof staff through quality of supervision and training and provides training for all assigned outlet personnel to ensure guest service standards are met.

  • Establishes department standards, guidelines andobjectivesandmaintainsother administrative processes, such as budget andstaffingto ensure proper planning and efficient operation of the outlets.

  • Develops andmaintainsan intricate knowledge of restaurant performance by monitoring guest satisfaction, volume, cost, marketingpromotionsand competitors’ programsin order toimplement necessary and innovative changes to ensure Hard Rock continues to offer superior product and service.

  • Works with the Director - F&B to analyze food cost and forecast business trendsin order tomake recommendations for revision of menu prices and food specials that will most appropriately meet company needs.

  • Monitors and evaluates the performance of Food & Beverage service byobservingoperations, surveyingguestsand coordinating with team membersin order todevelop strategies for proper planning and ongoing improvement of guest services and financial return.Responsible for ordering andmaintainingaccurateinventory levels of all restaurant supplies.

  • Conducts inspections of front-of-the-house areas to ensure compliance with procedures, security of company assets, and guest and employee safety.

  • Investigates and resolves guest complaintsin order tomaintainpositive guest relations.

  • Works in coordination withculinarydepartment to provide andmaintainoptimumdining experience.

  • Coordinates with Marketing and Player Development to properly prepare for increased guest volume due to group functions andspecial events

  • Assistswith operations in all Food & Beverage outlets.

  • Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to standards and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPIERENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of restaurant service experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role; OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Restaurant/Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field plus 3 years of restaurant service experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Strong background in restaurant and beverage operations.

  • Proven leadership and team supervision experience.

  • Ability to manage staff, support operational goals, and deliver excellent customer service.

  • Combination of education and practical experience that demonstrates readiness for a management-level role.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more.

  • Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The work environmental characteristics described here may be representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times when you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
