We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager - Benefits, to join our People & Culture team based in Noida.

Job Purpose:
- This position is part of the India HR {People & culture (P&C)} team responsible for supporting Total Rewards and Benefits activities in India.
- The role is to provide support for design, manage, revise and delivery for all employee benefits and wellness/ wellbeing initiatives & Policies for all India across multiple benefits & Policies types through interacting with various internal stakeholders and leaderships and external vendors and third party partner for all employees in India.
- This position is also responsible for providing ongoing Benefits & Policies education to the People & culture (P&C) and business to ensure understanding of Benefits & policies processes and governance requirement and bringing new, innovative and prevalent industry standard best practices benefits and policies.
Job Role:
- Support and independently drive, as required, the end-to-end design, assessment, administration, and management of Benefits & Policies programs in India, ensuring alignment with business and employee needs.
- Provide assistance for benefit renewals, including RFPs, cost impact analysis, and presenting proposals to internal stakeholders
- Revision, management & administration of all the current existing benefits and policies of India.
- Independently Manage Benefits operational activities
- Designing, Implementation and application of new innovative Benefits & Policies in India.
- Bringing prevalent and Industry best practices in our benefits and policies in India.
- Ensuring the benefits and policies are complaint to the respective various relevant laws of India.
- Identify and assess, and analyze gaps and deficiencies in our current benefits & Policies administration process, make recommendations for improvements, and document and implement new processes.
- Manage compliance and local regulatory requirements pertaining to the broad benefits & Policies programs, respond to internal audits.
- Managing benefits benchmarking exercise with external consulting vendor including liaison with internal global Benefits leaders.
- Implements and review all benefit schemes and policies (for example review of annual insurances related to health, life, accidental etc., medical schemes, leave policies,employee assistance and wellbeing policies, childcare policies, Creche polices, Site mobilization policy, car lease policies, etc. updating communication materials, website content and letters, and organizing briefing sessions on scheme/ policy changes)
- Local coordination of various existing Benefits & Policies Management processes
- Manage local communication requirements including employee handbooks and HR Connect content.
- Local facilitation for benefit & Policies programs and governance requirements e.g. managing Awareness sessions
- First level conceptualization and engagement on local EVP delivery including benefit and wellness programs.
- Education of HR teams and businesses on Benefits & Policies philosophy, practices and decision-making processes to ensure understanding and adherence to Benefits & Policies processes and governance requirements.
- Ensures compliance with global/ local statutory/ regulatory requirements and face off with auditors/ regulators.
- Management of external service providers in necessary engagement with internal stakeholders
- Provides Benefits & Policies advisory expertise for the solution of local business needs, complex individual queries, project-related initiatives and general implementation of Benefits products and solutions.
- Manage and liaise with Vendor, NPP & finance for timely invoice payment
- Responsible for the execution and delivery of onsite/offsite wellness projects as per global/ regional/ local plans (execute changes to benefits policies, organization of ad hoc intervention programs and events in partnership with external vendors, local networks and cross divisional departments)
- Maintains close collaboration with external vendors with focus on improving the provision of current services, data reporting and program offerings
- Manage compliance and local regulatory requirements pertaining the broad benefit programs, respond to internal audits, and oversee Workday configuration needs
- Resolve queries from employees, managers and the People Team; use queries to develop and maintain robust FAQs to drive employee self-service long term.
- Support other Benefits & Policies initiatives and programs as required. Responsibilities are not limited to those defined above and may evolve based on business needs.
- May required to support and contribute to other Total reward function International mobility, Compensation etc. as needed.
- The candidate for this role should work as an individual contributor independently without supervision

About you:

- 5 – 8 years of experience specific to India benefits, with additional international or global benefits preferred, particularly administration and development of programs.
- Strong project and vendor management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to simplify complex topics for a broad audience.
- Proven ability in leading project-based work and managing interdependencies between various partners in a detailed, fast-paced, and dynamic environment with the versatility to manage multiple projects, changing priorities and urgent issues successfully and simultaneously.
- A self-starter with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, who is highly motivated, agile, and flexible even in ambiguity, bringing other teams along smoothly and effectively.
- Expertise and deep proficiency in Excel, word, power point etc.
- Proficiency with HR systems, preferably people connect.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with attitude to identify and resolve problems with both a short-term and long-term lens
- Breadth of knowledge and experience of employee benefit plan designs including healthcare and pension schemes, complexities of plan administration, payroll processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance needs
