Job Description

• Perform detailed quality audits of coded medical records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to official coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements.
• Review and analyze clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy in assigning CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes.
• Identify coding errors, trends, and areas for improvement; provide actionable feedback and recommendations to the coding team.
• Collaborate with coding managers and training teams to support process improvement and coding education initiatives.
• Stay current with updates to coding standards, payer regulations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

1. QC check
2. Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
3. Complete received Audits with Quality
4. To achieve Quality and production target
5. Follow project related protocols and instructions
6. Escalate issues, identify trends...
7. Update all the logs like productivity, Clarification log, and any other logs applicable on a daily basis.
8. Check with Manager /TL in case of clarifications
9. All emails from Manager should be answered promptly without fail
10. Problem solving skill sets
11. Ensure compliance of entire team for HIPAA,OIG

Qualifications:

• Life science/Paramedical Degree
• CPC/CPMA; Min. 3+ Years experience After Certification
• Computer skill sets

Experience:

1. 4 years to 12 years’ experience in Medical coding IVR and General surgery
2. W orking in Quality team is an added advantage.

Communication: Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills

Working Hours:

1. 40 hours per week as Full time employee
2. Shift time: 08:00AM TO 05:00PM IST
3. Weekends Off

1. High Speed internet connection at home, must be broadband
2. Must understand and adhere with telecommuter policy
