The role of assistant manager will support the Ancillary Business team in managing and optimizing ancillary products with the objective of driving revenue growth. This role will be responsible for specific product categories, including hotel & accommodations, local experience, car rental & ground transportation products, advertising solutions, etc. The Specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to improve product performance and take-up rates.

Role Purpose

Product Management

  • Manage assigned ancillary products through their lifecycle ensuring timely implementation and a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, marketing) and external partners to design, implement, and optimize products.
  • Implement upselling and cross-selling initiatives across digital and offline channels.

Partnership Support

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers of ancillary products, including insurance, fintech, hotel & accommodation, local experiences and ground transportation partners.
  • Monitor revenues, business operations, and customer case handling for assigned products.
  • Support contract compliance and contribute to regular business reviews with partners.

Media Sales

  • Support media sales initiatives across inflight and digital channels to maximize advertising revenue.
  • Prepare pitch deck for potential advertising clients and close deals.
  • Coordinate with advertising partners and internal teams to deliver advertising placements and monitor performance.
  • Assist in inventory management and pricing updates for media sales.

Revenue Initiatives

  • Execute revenue optimization plans and support promotional campaigns with marketing and sales teams.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Support on providing regular weekly and monthly reports, including data and commentary, on ancillary revenue performance and product development.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement.

Operational Support

  • Handle day-to-day tasks, including invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, drafting content for promotions and producing advertising materials.
  • Manage approval workflows and assist with ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field required;
  • 5 years relevant working experience required;
  • Prior Aviation/Tourism experience preferred;
  • Knowledge of product management concepts and principles;
  • Good presentation skill and able to develop business case and presentation deck;
  • Happy to work independently when required;
  • A team player with a positive can-do attitude;
  • Proven ability to priorities and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives;
  • Result driven; enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills; proficient in both spoken and written English will be added advantage.
