Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager Accounting The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audit and compliance processes within the company.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Supervise and coordinate accounting team activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct financial report reviews and provide analytical insights for management decision-making.
Manage and monitor daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Coordinate and support both internal and external audit processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
Analyze financial data related to project operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or Assistant Manager position.
Proven experience in financial reporting and review processes within a team.
Previous experience in a Construction company is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to operational accounting.
Familiar with handling auditors and managing audit processes.
Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
