And The Three Horseshoes in Spellbrook is a pub with plenty of character. A picturesque, thatched-roof country pub and former coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, it’s the kind of place where customers come to relax, enjoy quality pub classics and spend time with the people who matter.

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who can bring energy, personality and great leadership to the team.

Job Description

What you’ll do

• Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in running the pub and making sure every shift delivers the experience our customers expect.
• You’ll lead from the front, supporting and developing your team to deliver great service, great food and a genuinely warm welcome.
• You’ll help drive the day-to-day performance of the pub, from keeping standards high and delivering fantastic customer experiences to supporting sales, controlling costs and making sure the team has everything they need to succeed.
• You’ll be confident taking ownership when the General Manager isn’t there, making decisions, solving problems and keeping the pub running smoothly during busy services.
• Most importantly, you’ll create an environment where your team enjoys coming to work and has the confidence to deliver their best.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• You’ll already have experience working in a busy hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
• You’ll be a natural leader who knows how to motivate a team, set clear expectations and lead by example.
• You’ll care about the details and take pride in delivering great standards, whether that’s a perfectly presented dish, a well-run service or a customer who leaves already planning their next visit.
• You’ll be commercially minded too, understanding that great hospitality and great business performance go hand in hand.
• And above all, you’ll have the personality to make The Three Horseshoes a place where both customers and team members feel at home.
