Job Description

Our Supply Chain team are now looking for a Supply Chain Planning Assistant Manager to support the delivery of our supplier engagement strategy. This is a dynamic and collaborative role where you will work across Buying, Merchandising, Finance, IT and Supply Chain, helping to drive visibility of inbound deliveries and improve how we work with our brand partners. You will play a key part in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.


About the Role


In this role you willbe responsible forsupporting supplier engagement and ensuringaccurateinbound planning across the business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will lead a team focused on purchase order management and supplier coordination, while also acting as a key contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will help drive the adoption of systems, improveprocessesand ensure delivery performance is aligned with business needs.


You will also manage the performance of our freightforwardingpartner and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance visibility,efficiencyand collaboration across the supply chain.

  • Lead and develop a team responsible formaintainingaccuratepurchase order delivery dates and inbound data.
  • Oversee theday-to-daymanagement of the supplier portal, supporting supplier onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues and driving a seamless experience.
  • Monitor and manage freightforwardingperformance against KPIs, using data and insights to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising and Supply Planning teams to ensureaccurateforecasts and delivery visibility.
  • Support internal teams with the adoption of systems such as EDI and supplier platforms.
  • Deputise for the Supply Chain Planning Manager whenrequiredand contribute to regular operational meetings.


About You

You will be a collaborative and proactive individual who thrives in afast-pacedenvironment. You will be confident leading a team and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement. With a strongunderstanding of supply chain operations, you will be detail oriented and able to translate data into actionable insights.

  • You will have experience within supply chain,logisticsor planning roles.
  • You will be confident managing and developing a team.
  • You will havestrong communicationskills and be comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external suppliers.
  • You will be highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • You will be data driven, with experience using systems and reporting tools tomonitorperformance.
  • You will be adaptable and able to respond to changing business needs.
