About the Role

As an Assistant Manager within our Business & Private Bank, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic and operational priorities across commercial and private banking segments. This role focuses on driving business performance, supporting key initiatives, and ensuring strong alignment between business objectives and outcomes. You will contribute to effective decision-making, governance, and overall business efficiency, while supporting teams in delivering high-quality outcomes for both business and high-net-worth clients.

What will your day look like?

As a Assistant Manager, you will:

• Support the design, plan and facilitate origination initiatives across segments or countries
• Support relevant initiatives of the business and facilitate the execution
• Become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, business heads and peers across the business
• Manage ad-hoc issues and requirements for the businesses, both overall and within different business areas
• Provide analytical support in order for the team to contribute to relevant Leadership forums and other committees such as Risk.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong problem solving skills - ability to quickly identify strengths and weaknesses of a problem & quickly process large amounts of spreadsheet data and turn it into meaningful insights for the business
  • Ability to execute improvements, navigating execution through the organisation and overcoming roadblocks
  • Well organised, able to manage and prioritise a large and fast-moving workload, coordinating and delivering multiple simultaneous initiatives
  • High energy, self-motivating and curious
  • Developed communication and influencing skills - spoken, written and in person.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Agribusiness experience desired
  • Prior banking experience desired
