Job Description

The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving team performance, and ensuring delivery of business objectives. This role involves supervising team members, managing workflows, maintaining quality and productivity standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of processes. The Assistant Manager also plays a key role in people management, training and development, performance monitoring, process improvement, and stakeholder communication. They are expected to proactively identify risks and opportunities, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and client requirements.

  • Support the Manager in planning, organizing, and managing daily business operations.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve productivity, quality, and service-level targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure adherence to process guidelines, compliance standards, and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage workforce planning, shift allocation, and capacity utilization to meet business demands.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Identify training needs and support skill development of team members.
  • Handle escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and delivery.
  • Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and business reviews to management.
  • Support transition of new processes, projects, or clients and ensure smooth stabilization.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
