1. Operations Management

• Oversee daily logistics operations including warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities
• Ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes to meet delivery timelines
• Monitor operational KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory accuracy)
• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise and guide logistics staff, team leads, and operators
• Plan manpower allocation and scheduling to meet operational demands
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching/training
• Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures

3. Inventory & Warehouse Control

• Ensure accurate inventory tracking and stock reconciliation
• Oversee stock audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and housekeeping standards

4. Transportation & Distribution

• Coordinate with transport providers and internal stakeholders
• Optimize delivery routes and scheduling for cost efficiency
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations
• Enforce proper handling of goods and adherence to SOPs
• Support audits and implement corrective actions where required

6. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with internal departments (Procurement, Customer Service, Finance)
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
• Address operational issues and escalate when necessary

7. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare operational reports and performance analysis
• Track costs, productivity, and efficiency metrics
