Assistant Management Accountant

Dayshift | Full time |Onsite Iloilo and Makati Office |Open to fresh graduates up to 5 years work experience

About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations, reconciliations, month-end reporting, and project-related financial activities across multiple platforms and entities.

This role is open to fresh graduates with relevant internship or hands-on accounting experience, as well as candidates with prior accounting experience. You’ll work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to maintain accurate financial records, investigate discrepancies, and support timely reporting.

What you'll be working on:

Day-to-day Finance

• Monitor finance inboxes and action accounting-related requests.
• Support Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, PO matching, payment runs, and supplier queries.
• Process sales invoice amendments and credit notes.
• Allocate customer payments and complete bank reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and aged receivables.
• Process supplier/vendor setup and customer finance documentation.
• Upload POs, invoices, and supporting documents to customer portals.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards and travel-related transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial data across finance and operational systems.
• Maintain fixed asset and storage asset records and ensure related billing is accurate.
• Assist Operations with finance queries and other ad hoc requirements.

Month-end & Reporting

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain month-end schedules, including intercompany, prepayments, and accruals.
• Prepare month-end journals and supporting workpapers.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
• Investigate variances and reconciliation differences and provide supporting information.

Revenue & Project Reconciliations

• Reconcile sales data across Rentman, Xero, and Pipeline, identifying discrepancies for follow-up.
• Reconcile sales between HubSpot and Xero and investigate differences.
• Assist with revenue and COGS deferral calculations and related journals.
• Support project revenue, cost, and financial reconciliations.

What we're looking for:

• Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience. (Experience or Internship in bookkeeping, reconciliations, or month-end accounting.)
• Strong foundation in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Good Excel skills, particularly in reconciliations and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines.
• Growth mindset and adaptability in dynamic, fast-paced environments
