As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the management accounting function by assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues and gain exposure to various aspects of site finance, helping drive informed business decisions and contributing to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Helping with reconciliation of ledger accounts.
  • Conducting variance analysis to understand performance deviations.
  • Collaborating with different departments to gather financial information.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities.

Requirements

  • A finance-related qualification or working towards a relevant accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Some experience or knowledge of management accounting principles is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • A proactive and eager learner who works well in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for numbers and problem-solving.
  • Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, office based.
