Job Description

Industry: Electronics MNC
Location: Northeast
Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Responsibility:

  • Plan and monitor inbound/outbound shipments in collaboration with factories, 3PLs, and carriers to meet sales deadlines.
  • Liaise with traffic control centers to optimize routing, reduce transit times, and resolve transportation disruptions.
    Track shipments in real-time and escalate delays to stakeholders (sales, customers, warehouses).
  • Act as the primary logistics contact for factories, ensuring timely production-to-shipment handoffs.
  • Coordinate with 3PL providers to manage warehousing, last-mile delivery, and reverse logistics.
  • Work with traffic control teams to align transportation schedules with sales demand forecasts.
  • Supervise 3PL-managed inventory, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies. Conduct joint audits with factories and 3PLs to verify stock levels and storage conditions.
  • Support customer audits by providing logistics documentation (proof of delivery, 3PL performance reports).
    Prepare factory and 3PL audit reports for internal compliance reviews. Maintain records for external audits (customs, ISO, safety regulations).
  • Identify bottlenecks in factory-to-warehouse or 3PL handoffs and implement solutions. Analyze traffic control data (e.g., route efficiency, carrier performance) to reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
  • Certifications (preferred) in CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or 3PL partnership training
  • Proficient in TMS, WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • At least 3+ years in logistics experience, preferably with exposure to factory coordination, 3PL management, and traffic/routing optimization and with 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management (factories, 3PLs, carries)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with traffic control centers under time pressure
  • Analytical problem-solving and strong organizational abilities
  • Detail-oriented with leadership aptitude and managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in ERP procurement systems, Microsoft office, and data analysis tools
  • High level of integrity, responsibility and initiative
