JOB TITLE:
Assistant Librarian - Faculty Support Librarian
JOB PURPOSE:
The University of Wyoming Libraries seeks a creative, collaborative, and patron-focused librarian for the Faculty Support Librarian in the Research & Outreach Services (ROS) unit. This position supports faculty and graduate students across a wide range of disciplines conducting evidence synthesis reviews by providing guidance on emerging tools, resources, and methods for evidence synthesis support. The position will additionally design programming, workshops, and asynchronous training materials, and provide targeted research support.
The Faculty Support Librarian is also responsible for developing policies, procedures, templates, protocols, and training for liaison librarians and developing a clear understanding of the teaching, research, and scholarly communication practices in assigned liaison areas. This position engages with and communicates with external liaison units on behalf of the Libraries.
As a member of ROS, the Faculty Support Librarian will provide research consultation and instructional support and will collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the Research & Outreach Services unit for projects, assessment, and instruction.

Experience Evaluation
Minimum experience requirements are evaluated on a full-time equivalent (FTE) basis. Relevant part-time experience will be prorated based on hours worked. For example, two years working an average of 20 hours per week is equivalent to approximately one year of full-time experience.

WORK LOCATION:
On-Campus This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
