Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) Business Risk Management, Fraud and Credit Control - Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Lending Manager (Secured).

Principal responsibilities

• Assess, approve and review loan applications in accordance with the Bank’s retail lending policies and collaborate with business units to facilitate and monitor the approval process
• Develop and maintain a close relationship with counterparts
• Keep abreast of the market changes to ensure the competitiveness of our products / services
• Assist in the review of lending policies and guidelines as well as participate in product development, service enhancement and other ad hoc projects

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualification
• Experience in consumer lending within banking industry
• Knowledge of Hong Kong property market with understanding of HASE mortgage operations is an advantage
• Strong business sense with good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Resilient, capable to work effectively and responsibly in a dynamic environment
• Ability to embrace change and overcome challenges
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Lending Officer
