Join our Casual Nurse Bank and become part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across inpatient units at St John of God Geelong Hospital. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Midwives, you will assist with patient care while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic acute care environment.

Morning (7:00am - 3:00pm), Afternoon (3:00pm - 10:00pm) and Night (10:00pm - 7:00am) shifts

About You
Currently a 2nd year Nursing student or higher
Have completed at least two clinical placements
Passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
Enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Your skills and experience
You will have active enrolment in, and have successfully completed at least 12 months of, an NMBA‑approved Bachelor of Nursing and/or Midwifery degree or Diploma of Nursing program, or you will have successfully completed a nationally recognised qualification, being the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assistance in Nursing Work in Acute Care) HLT33115 or an equivalent qualification.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate competence and effectively perform the skills outlined in the Statement of Duties, along with exhibiting well‑developed verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Salary $38.10 to $39.23 per hour (casual loading included) plus 12% superannuation
