
Under general supervision perform semi-skilled installation. Perform repair and preventative maintenance on air conditioning, refrigeration and heating equipment. Plan, inspect, record and monitor HVAC concerns. Research concerns and order repair parts and supplies.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 80 pounds without assistance and demonstrate bending, crouching and liftingMust be able to climb a ladder, scaffolding and work on rooftops.

Routine exposure to heat, cold, moisture/wetness, inclement weather, noise, air pollution, and heightsMay involve exposure to chemical substances, hazards and moving parts. Work schedule is subject to change in accordance withUniversity needs and/or the results of the shift line-up process. Overtime/call-ins may be mandatory based on University needs.

Salary:
Grade: CWA-06A Salary determination is subject to the collective bargaining agreement.
• $21.72/hr. starting pay, after one year $22.26/hr. + Full Benefits + Pension & Paid Time Off
