Emberlin is Frantzén Group’s interpretation of a grill restaurant – a glamorous, high-energy destination with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The generous à la carte menu ranges from an extensive crudo selection to dishes from the grill, where carefully selected cuts of meat, fish, and poultry are cooked over an open fire. About the role
As Assistant Head Chef, you are the Head Chef’s closest partner and a key leader in the kitchen. You play a central role in daily operations, service execution and team development, ensuring consistency, quality and strong collaboration throughout the kitchen.
This role combines hands-on cooking, leadership and structure, and is crucial during the opening phase and beyond.
The successful candidate will
Have previous experience as Assistant Head Chef, Sous Chef or similar
Be confident leading a kitchen team during service
Support menu development and implementation
Ensure high standards in quality, hygiene and workflow
Be a clear communicator and a strong team player
Thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious kitchen environment
Have a genuine interest in grill cooking and open-fire techniques

The group has a total of 6 stars in Guide Michelin, with premium experience Frantzén and Zén awarded with three Michelin stars.

In Sweden, the Group includes three establishments within the upscale department store NK (Nordiska Kompaniet) in the heart of downtown Stockholm. Here you can explore Bobergs Matsal, Botanique and Nordiska Kantinen. In 2020 the group opened a power brasserie in the classic former theatre Astoria on Nybrogatan, Östermalm in Stockholm.
INTERNATIONAL
In 2016 the Group opened its first restaurant outside of Sweden. Restaurant Frantzén’s Kitchen was opened in Hong Kong and has since won several awards and is currently ranked as one of the best restaurants in the country. In late 2018 Zén, which is a sister restaurant to Frantzén in Stockholm, opened in Singapore, and in 2021 Zén was awarded three stars in Guide Michelin.
