Job Description

Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €31 Billion international wholesaler with operations in more than 30 countries. The store network comprises a total of 623 stores in 21 countries, of which 522 offer out-of-store delivery (OOS), and 94 dedicated depots. In 12 countries, METRO runs only the delivery business by its delivery companies (Food Service Distribution, FSD).

HoReCa and Traders are core customer groups of METRO. The HoReCa section includes hotels, restaurants, catering companies as well as bars, cafés and canteen operators. The Traders section includes small grocery stores and kiosks. The majority of all customer groups are small and medium-sized enterprises as well as sole traders. METRO helps them manage their business challenges more effectively.

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide HR, Finance, IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. He/ She is responsible for leading all facets of a change management program. He/ She creates leads & manages business change management planning, design, development, and execution of the people side of change initiatives. Supports impacted employees, leaders, and all stakeholders in their change efforts to maximize change adoption and absorption. Are you ready to ‘be’ the People side of Change?



Major Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of change initiatives across the organization.
  • Ability to create and drive CM strategy.
  • Develop change management plans, communication & stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Drives Change impact and other practices related to CM.
  • Develop & implement strategy on communication, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, training, etc.
  • Strong Stakeholder planning and management.


Other Key Responsibilities -

  • Design, develop, and implement:
  • Organizational change management strategies and methodologies
  • Develop Communication strategies, stakeholder engagement activities and content to drive adoption and sustainability of change.
  • Developing Feedback mechanisms using the above that enable development and improvement of transformation workstreams.
  • Analysis, data collection, and feedback efforts to provide insights into change efforts.
  • Timely and effective implementation of Change Strategies to drive faster and sustainable adoption of the change.
  • Own & implement framework, specific change plans.
  • Adherence to Scope, Time & Cost as required by your project.
  • Own, develop and implement customized communications and engagement strategies across stakeholders.  Efficient risk management – Predict risks before they occur, escalate, communicate as needed.
  • Conduct Change Impact Analysis, evaluation and ensuring the readiness for change.
  • Design behavioral / engagement interventions and strategies to manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Able to define/design communication artefacts based on project requirement like (Newsletter, Mailers, Snippets etc.)
  • Assess and monitor change adoption and behavioral shifts.
  • Develop a Risk management strategy: Identify Risk / Resistance, analyze and plan for mitigation and build communication / escalation plans.
  • Flexible and creative - ability to propose innovative ideas, build empathy within the firm and win the trust of the clients.

Qualifications

A. Educational Requirements:

  • Full Time MBA (Preferred)


B. Work Experience:

  • Relevant 5 to 7 years in Organization Change Management with focus on Change Management/Transformation Management applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools for implementing change programs.
  • Experience in leading projects with project management expertise and experience is an added advantage.
  • Leadership skills, C-Level communication, Conflict management, Stakeholder management, Change management, Project management, Team management, AGILE ways of working.


C. Certifications: Change management certification (Prefer PROSCI, APMG certified professionals) - Preferred.

D. Other Requirements:

  • MS Office Suite/ Teams
  • Experience in leading / delivering large scale complex change initiatives.
