The Opportunity


We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant General Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is a key management position within one of the group’s flagship venues — reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Group General Manager and Group Executive Chef to lead the team, drive performance, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You’ll play an integral role in the day-to-day operations and long-term direction of the hotel, supporting the GM in all aspects of venue management while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and genuine hospitality among your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily venue operations across bar, dining, events, and entertainment.
  • Support the GM with budgeting, forecasting, and achieving business targets.
  • Collaborate with group leadership on food, beverage, and service innovation.
  • Lead, train, and develop department managers and supervisors to build capability and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with all licencing, safety, and Fair Work requirements.
  • Inspire a positive, service-driven culture and uphold the hotel’s brand standards.


About You

  • Proven experience in a senior hospitality management role (Assistant GM, General Manager, or Multi-Outlet Manager).
  • Strong operational and financial acumen, with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Skilled communicator and team builder, able to deliver results through people.
  • Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences and leading by example.
