Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/yearCastle Hill Inn is looking for a Assistant General Manager to join the team.
Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Assistant General Manager role, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager by overseeing and leading the daily restaurant operations while fostering a culture of positivity, growth and teamwork.
About You: You are a quality driven leader with a strong hospitality and service background whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally.

Essential Duties:
- Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all areas of the restaurant’s daily operations including private dining
- Hiring, training, and development of employees and managers
- Maintains professional relationships with other managers and subordinates in order to foster a culture of positivity, growth and teamwork
- Hands on training and development of all service positions, specific areas to include: Guest Service, Etiquette, Food and Beverage Knowledge
- Oversees scheduling for front of house
- Daily reconciliation, invoicing, and inventory
Compensation and Benefits:

QualificationsSkills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
- Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Qualifications:
- Progression from Restaurant Manager to Assistant General Manager with a minimum of 2 years as Assistant General Manager in an upscale, high-volume establishment.
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Prior experience a plus but not required
