Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Parallel Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the supervision, coordination and optimization of the company’s operational activities.

He/She ensures the proper organization of the teams, the quality of the services provided, compliance with objectives and procedures, as well as the continuous improvement of operational performance.

As a key link between Management and the operational teams, he/she supports managers and ensures the proper implementation of the company’s strategy.

Main Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership

  • Manage, support and bring together operational teams.
  • Supervise department heads and frontline managers.
  • Define individual and collective objectives.
  • Monitor performance and support employees in developing their skills.
  • Foster a positive working environment and effective communication between teams.

Operations Management

  • Organize and supervise all operational activities.
  • Ensure the quality, continuity and efficiency of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, deadlines and quality standards.
  • Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize human, material and financial resources.

Performance & Reporting

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze results and propose improvement plans.
  • Prepare regular reports for Senior Management.
  • Participate in the preparation and monitoring of operational budgets.
  • Control costs and identify opportunities for optimization.

Continuous Improvement

  • Implement and monitor process improvement plans.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and digitalization.
  • Harmonize working methods and procedures.
  • Support organizational changes.
  • Ensure a continuous approach to improving quality and customer satisfaction.

Coordination

  • Ensure coordination between the company’s different departments.
  • Work closely with Senior Management, Human Resources, Sales teams and support functions.
  • Participate in strategic projects and the development of the company.
  • Act as the main point of contact for operational partners and service providers when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education degree in management, business administration, commerce, engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Significant experience in managing and overseeing operational activities.
  • Proven experience in team management.
  • Strong skills in organization, project management and performance management.
  • Ability to make decisions and manage priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and natural leadership.
  • Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
