Summary:
The Assistant General Manager supports the GM in managing daily operations and staff performance. The AGM helps ensure smooth service execution, assists with financial oversight, and serves as an on-site leader when the GM is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily FOH and BOH operations, ensuring high service standards
- Support GM in staffing, training, and team development
- Assist with financial performance, including cost controls, labor, and scheduling
- Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, and efficiency
- Act as the GM when needed, ensuring operational continuity
- Promote a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture

QualificationsRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Experience assisting with scheduling, training, and staff performance management
- Ability to support GM in cost control, budget tracking, and operations
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems quickly
- Availability to cover GM duties when needed
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
