Job Description

The Courtyard by Marriott in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring memorable guest experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Assist the General Manager in daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Provide training, including safety training and standard operation procedures to all deprtment personnel as directed by management.
• Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team.
• Lead shift management activities, ensuring all staff are performing their duties effectively during peak hours.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership skills.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in hotel management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and shift supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Requirements
Two years of college or vocational training in Hospitality or an equivalent program with a minimum of three years experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
Compuer skills - Word processing and spreadsheet functions

Backgroud screening required, ability to work in United States.
