As Assistant General Counsel, EMEA you will serve as a senior strategic legal advisor to BD’s businesses, manufacturing sites, and functional leaders across the Central & Eastern Europe region, as well as selected Business Units at the EMEA level. This role also carries leadership responsibilities within the broader EMEA Law Group. You will act as a key partner to regional leadership, providing business‑aligned legal guidance that enables growth, protects the company, and strengthens BD’s culture of integrity and compliance.
You are qualified to practice law in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria, with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in major law firms or international companies. Your expertise includes business counseling, contract negotiation, antitrust laws, and litigation. You have led teams and have outstanding communication skills. You are collaborative, strategic, and capable of working autonomously within a complex matrix structured global business.
