We are looking for a Assistant Front Desk Manager for the next season to join our Front Office team.
The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity. He/she is passionate about service and willing to grow professionally.


He/She will Report to the Front Desk Manager.

Main Duties & Responsabilities:

  • Support the Front Desk Manager in the day-to-day management of reception operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the reception team to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as updating reservation logs and managing guest lists.
  • Train and mentor reception staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in similar roles like Assistant Front Desk Manager, within luxury 5-star hotels or international chains.
  • Excellent knowledge of Front Office operations and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, HMS).
  • Strong customer focus and a natural aptitude for delivering an exceptionally high standard of service.
  • Outstanding leadership, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations calmly and professionally.
  • Fluent command of both Italian and English (written and spoken) is essential. Knowledge of a third language (e.g., French, German, Russian, Arabic) will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Secondary school diploma or university degree, preferably in tourism or hospitality management.

  • We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3,  Asssitant Front Desk Manager;
  • Start date: April 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path; 
  • Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniorirty and skill level, separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
