You provide hands-on leadership and support across multiple key departments—including but not limited to VIP Services, Command Center, and Front Desk—working to uphold service excellence at every guest touchpoint. Your role is essential in resolving escalated guest or team member concerns with professionalism and care, while also ensuring that all hotel operations align with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Through your leadership, you help create a welcoming, efficient, and guest-focused environment that reflects the values and reputation of the organization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling, training, supervising, and coaching department staff to promote strong performance, engagement, and service consistency
- Monitor and support daily operations to ensure alignment with company standards, safety protocols, and guest satisfaction goals
- Serve as a point of contact for resolving team member or guest concerns, escalating issues as needed to department leadership
- Collaborate with hotel managers and stakeholders to prepare for casino promotions, special events, and group bookings to optimize occupancy and block rate usage
- Monitor and control labor within the division by evaluating coverage needs, business demands, and cost-efficiency targets
- Assess the condition and presentation of hotel amenities and guest areas; recommend improvements to ensure competitiveness and guest satisfaction
- Support the accurate completion of administrative tasks, including payroll processing, timecard verification, and procurement tracking
- Participate in financial performance reviews by assisting in the analysis of departmental revenue, profitability, and expenses
- Contribute to the implementation of marketing and operational strategies that enhance the overall hotel experience
- Maintain open, positive communication with other departments to support cohesive operations and guest service continuity
- Support the accurate completion of administrative functions, such as attendance tracking, supply ordering, or reporting
- Assist with payroll processes, scheduling adjustments, and labor compliance as directed by department management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a hotel operations or front office leadership role, or in a comparable guest-facing supervisory position preferred
- Ability to lead and guide team members in a fast-paced or customer-facing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support training, feedback, and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and follow through on responsibilities
- Proven success managing labor costs and operational changes
- Accurate money-handling and documentation skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs and shift schedules
- Committed to upholding a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
- Basic understanding of department KPIs, labor management, or guest service standards
- Analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and act upon financial and operational data
- Familiarity with UKG timekeeping/payroll system and Red Rock procurement tools is preferred
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or certification preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
