Salary: $29.84/hour

Job Duties:

  • M anagesfunctionsincludingtimekeeping, human resources activities, inventories for fleet and operations, and reports; coordinates building/groundskeepingneedsandrepairs.
  • O ncall24/7forinclementweatherandemergencies;researchestrainingopportunitiesfor operations, fleet, and administrativestaff, and recommends training to management; assists withthe annual roadprogram, ice andsnow removal, andannual workplan.
  • C oordinates operations within the department and ensures requests for service is investigated;visitsjobsites duringconstructionseason; andisliaisonfor thedepartmentdealing withinternalandexternalcustomersandstakeholders.
  • R esponsibleforassistinginthepreparationofanannualbudgetforprocurement ofgoodsandservicesforthedepartment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or the equivalent. Specialized training or certification in a related field may be required.
  • Five years of public administrative experience in the public or private sector.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Must possess a valid Class B CDL or obtain a Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen
