About Your Company

We are seeking an Assistant / Financial Controller to direct and oversee all financial activities within the organization, ensuring the Club's economic viability and growth. This role entails managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and adherence to accounting standards and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior management and report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  
• Oversee the financial aspects of the ongoing redevelopment project, ensuring it aligns with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
  
• Formulate and maintain financial policies and internal controls to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  
• Drive the annual budgeting process, assessing risks and opportunities while setting key performance indicators.
  
• Manage cash flow effectively and optimize returns on surplus funds.
  
• Track financial performance against forecasts and budgets, offering actionable insights for improvement.
  
• Work with external auditors to facilitate efficient and accurate audits and tax compliance.
  
• Provide financial insights and support to various departments across the organization.
  
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, supporting their growth and success
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional Qualification in HKICPA, CPAA or ACCA is a MUST
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar financial management role, demonstrating success in financial oversight.
• Experience in the clubhouse, hotel, or hospitality sectors is a significant plus.
• Sound knowledge in business in&out operations and managing all expenses of the organisation
• Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Able to demonstrate team management skills by leading a team of 5-7
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as Flex System, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
