About Your Company

Our client is a fast-growing startup in the technology sector, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to meet evolving market needs. They are seeking a dynamic and detail-driven professional to lead their finance function. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of accounting operations, financial closing, treasury management, and compliance coordination. The successful candidate will also support investor relations through insightful financial reporting and analysis, collaborating across teams to drive strategic financial management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and scalability to support rapid growth.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, delivering timely financial reports, insightful analysis, and consolidated financial statements.
• Optimize the company's liquidity position by proactively managing cash flow forecasts and funding requirements, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams by preparing management accounts and providing clear financial insights to support informed decision-making.
• Act as a strategic internal advisor on payment workflows and financial arrangements, enabling cross-functional teams to make informed decisions.
• Design and enhance accounting policies and internal controls tailored to startup dynamics and scaling needs.
• Monitor working capital daily and implement cash flow optimization strategies to sustain business operations during high-growth phases.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, including leading finance system upgrades and automation initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and company secretarial compliance with external advisors, ensuring preparedness and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Lead ad hoc financial projects and collaborate cross-functionally to support business strategy and operational goals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or above in Finance & Accounting, Professional Accountancy, Business Administration (major in accounting), or related fields.
• Professional qualification in HKICPA, CPAA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years managing teams and leading accounting operations, preferably in a startup environment.
• Experience with Xero accounting software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of accounting frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent multitasking, project management, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, thrives under pressure, and meets tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
  
• Adaptable, humble team player comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
