We are supporting a client in identifying a capable Assistant Finance Manager to oversee core financial operations, reporting, and business partnering activities. This role will play a key part in ensuring financial integrity, supporting decision-making, and strengthening internal processes within a growing business environment.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Closing & Reporting
Oversee monthly closing processes in collaboration with shared services functions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reports
Review financial outputs, identify irregularities, and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Business & Financial Analysis
Interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decisions
Monitor performance trends and highlight key variances, risks, and opportunities
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with cross-functional teams to validate financial information and ensure alignment across departments
Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required
Audit, Tax & Compliance
Coordinate year-end audits, statutory reporting, and tax submissions, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations
Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including SST matters
Cash Flow & Controls
Monitor cash flow position and support effective cash management practices
Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial processes and reporting integrity
Planning & Forecasting
Support budgeting and forecasting exercises, working closely with business units to develop realistic and aligned financial plans
Deliver variance analysis against budgets and prior periods, with clear commentary
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve systems utilisation, and enhance reporting efficiency
Support implementation of process improvements and system enhancements
Others
Assist with additional finance-related responsibilities as required from time to time
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, with professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to financial reporting and process improvements
Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into practical insights
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact across different levels of stakeholders
Proficient in English (written and spoken)
Comfortable working with ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
