Seeking a change of pace? Trade city life for the fresh country air with Pace Farm. We're searching for a dynamic individual to join us as our Assistant Farm Manager. Working closely with the Farm Manager, you'll oversee and mentor a dedicated team across various farm duties, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and farming practices are maintained. You'll enjoy a 10-day fortnight schedule, providing a balanced work-life rhythm.

What you’ll do

  • Leading, supervising, and mentoring a team.
  • Organising daily work schedules.
  • Ensuring high standards of animal welfare for maximum production efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the team to enhance productivity.
  • Adhering to GMP & HACCP protocols.
  • Demonstrating passion, enthusiasm, and a "hands-on" approach.
  • Flexibility in managing production and roster changes.
  • Ensuring a safe workplace.

What skills and attributes you require

  • Forklift license or willingness to acquire it

  • Excellent communication skills
