We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Farm Manager to join our team onsite on our South Australia Port Wakefield Farm, SA 5550. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Farm Manager to help manage the day-to-day operations within cutting edge, tunnel ventilated broiler bird farms, providing strong leadership to a small team of approximately three to five staff, in order to ensure cost effective and efficient bird production. As the Assistant Farm Manager, you'll collaborate with, and provide support to, the farm manager through assisting with all of their duties and responsibilities.
ProTen is Australia's largest corporate meat chicken grower, setting the standard in broiler farm operations and development. With over 800 poultry sheds across 70 farms strategically located in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland, ProTen is at the forefront of the industry. Our current farms have the capacity to produce over 200 million broiler chickens annually, contributing to over 25% of Australia's total broiler chicken production.
