Job Description

Contract Period: Permanent / 2-Year Contract

Work Location: Tuen Mun

Applications are invited for the above position at the Castle Peak Power Station. Reporting to the Outage Manager under Business Office, major duties include:-

  • Engage with multi-disciplinary work teams to liaise work scopes and schedules on projects, preventive maintenance and defects works;
  • Consolidate and establish high level outage program to identify key milestones, including critical path, major activities, commissioning requirements, etc.;
  • Coordinate and supervise overall productivity and performance of outage-related works on site, ensure outage work activities are carried out in a safe and professional manner, meeting statutory requirements, required engineering standards and codes of practice;
  • Support review of engineering documentation, work schedules and technical reports, and to prepare outage and asset related documents for endorsement, circulation and reporting;
  • Support routine reporting and performance tests for outage and asset performance related works, including consolidation of asset performance statistics, coordinate station performance tests, etc.

Requirements:

  • A recognized university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, plus at least 1 year's relevant working experience; or higher diploma / certificate plus 3 years' relevant working experience;
  • Procession of Safety Supervisor (SS) or above qualification with practical working experience in OSH are preferrable;
  • Past working experience in project management and contractor management would be added advantage;
  • Well organized, detailed-minded, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with pleasant and proactive character;
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point; MS Project and Primavera P6 would be advantageous.
