
Job Title: Asisstant Electrical Project Manager
Location: UK (with site travel)
Salary: £43,000 – £48,000 + company vehicle
Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
We’re working on behalf of a growing electrical services provider seeking a proactive and hands-on Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of electrical projects across the UK. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and engineering teams to ensure smooth planning, quoting, and execution of both small and large-scale works.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines practical electrical experience with strong organisational and project management skills — and who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed.
Attend client sites to assess works and gather technical information for quotes and project planning
Prepare quotations and support project planning with input from the Project Manager where needed
Take ownership of smaller projects from quote to completion
Attend project kick-off meetings for larger jobs to support site supervisors and engineers
Attend project sign-off visits with the supervisor upon completion
Provide on-site support in emergency situations — willing to jump on the tools if required
Maintain strong communication with engineers, supervisors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
AM2 qualified
Previous on-site electrical experience is essential
Demonstrable project planning and quoting experience
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach with the willingness to support hands-on tasks when necessary
A full UK driving licence
£46,000 – £50,000 starting salary
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Company vehicle provided (van or equivalent)
