About you

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Early Childhood Educator with a Certificate III in Children’s Services (or related qualification) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality education and care for children aged 0–5, guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).

You’ll play a key part in shaping a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to grow.

What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (WA) Act 2012, Regulations, and NQF
  • Up-to-date knowledge of child development and best practices in early learning
  • Awareness of current trends and research in Early Years services
  • Sound understanding of Child Protection legislation and your responsibilities as a mandated reporter
  • Experience in Long Day Care and/or Outside School Hours Care settings

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
