The Assistant - Donor Correspondence Management provides support to the overall national sponsorship operation to function smoothly. The position supports the Coordinator - Donor Correspondence Management to ensure vetting, systemizing and dispatching of Sponsors letters & gifts. This position will also provide support to the overall national operation in terms of monitoring, follow ups and field reviews to ensure compliance with Sponsorship Standards.


Major Responsibilities
• Facilitate the Sponsor - Child Engagement
• Process Sponsor Letters, Sponsor Electronic Letters, Gifts & Birthday Bounce Cards received at National Office
• Facilitate quality and timely communication between sponsors and Registered Children for all Sponsor – Child Engagement features.
• Maintain required records and/or tracking sheets.
• Facilitate capacity building trainings on sponsorship standards, correspondence, business processes, manuals and policies
• Be involved in field visits and engage with AP teams, child and communities.
• Keep track of all external translators.


Required qualifications, experience & competencies
• At least 2 years’ experience in World Vision or similar agencies is an advantage.
• A Higher Diploma (A study course exceeding 6 months or more) in Administration, Management or any relevant stream of studies
• Strong computer skills including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Creative and able to apply innovative thinking.
• Good interpersonal skill and cross-cultural sensitivity, abilities to work as a team.
• Effective written and oral communication
• Ability to Read, Write and speak in English and Sinhala or Tamil
