About The Role

The Assistant, Distribution Center (DC) Operations is a vital contributor to DKSH's Supply Chain Management function, supporting the accurate and efficient day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center in Laos. This role directly enables service reliability and operational excellence within DKSH's Consumer Goods business by ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched with precision and care.

What You Will Deliver

• Ensure accurate receipt of incoming goods through thorough quantity verification and proper documentation, supporting inventory integrity from the point of entry.
• Maintain orderly and accessible product storage by executing putaway activities in designated warehouse locations.
• Fulfill order requirements accurately through disciplined picking and packing, contributing to on-time and complete order dispatch.
• Support efficient inbound and outbound logistics by assisting with loading and unloading activities, enabling timely movement of goods.
• Minimize inventory loss and product damage through safe and careful goods handling throughout the warehouse.
• Uphold inventory accuracy through regular daily and monthly stock counts, enabling reliable stock visibility and business continuity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or manual logbooks, supporting stock movement transparency and traceability.
• Escalate discrepancies, damages, and variances to the Supervisor promptly, enabling swift corrective action and operational continuity.
• Ensure all inbound and outbound documentation is accurately completed and properly filed, supporting audit readiness and operational compliance.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to all warehouse safety protocols, participating in routine safety checks, and reporting hazards or equipment issues without delay.
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

• Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in warehouse or distribution operations is not required; relevant experience will be considered an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory handling.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a warehouse environment.
• Sound numerical ability to support accurate stock counting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in the local language (Lao) with basic proficiency in English, both written and reading.
