Job Description

[What the role is]

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Director/Senior Manager to join the Human Capital's Planning, Strategy & Data Team.

[What you will be working on]

  • Formulate and review manpower policies to keep pace with tech and media developments.
  • Conduct policy research, data analysis, and evaluate emerging tech and media trends to inform manpower policy recommendations.
  • Prepare high-quality papers and presentations for senior management, senior government officials, and Ministers.
  • Oversee and ensure the timely and effective implementation of manpower policies and operations.
  • Collaborate both within and across government agencies to ensure alignment of strategic interests.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of policy officers, that can effectively contribute to the cluster’s objectives.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in policy formulation roles within the Singapore Government.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders (e.g. senior government officials and Ministers).
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with government structures and policy processes would be advantageous.
