Job Description

The Lynch Leadership Academy seeks an Assistant Director of Program and Operations who will be provide programmatic leadership and is responsible for the implementation of specific program aspects of Lynch Leadership Academy, including but not limited to: recruitment and selection, communications, and Fellowship programming. The Assistant Director is responsible for supporting fiscal, human resources and operational functions associated with the academy. The Assistant Director communicates regularly with University personnel in other departments and is often the primary liaison between LLA and the University especially with items like event logistics, finance, and communication.

Reporting to the Lynch Leadership Academy Director of Finance and Operations responsibilities include:

Lead the outreach, application, interview and selection processes for interested program participants.

Examine program processes and protocols for inequities and propose and implement solutions

Lead all logistics, so every professional development effort - days, retreats, institutes, school visits - run without a hitch.

Contribute to proposal and program design for our Fellowship and consulting partnerships

Contribute to our regional and national expansion efforts; help to identify, evolve and launch pilot initiatives.

Responsible for all LLA social media, increasing our followers and aligning our social media with our values, strategy and programs

Develop policies and establish procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.

Support the Director of Finance and Operations in the financial operations of LLA, including paperwork for facilitators, MOUs and invoices, purchasing, reimbursements, and reconciling spending.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in program management and operations, education and/or non-profit experience preferred

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Detail-oriented and tech-savvy.

Previous experience supporting financial management preferred
