Job Title : Assistant Director (Placement)
The incumbent will provide strategic leadership for all placement-related activities of the designated School. The role involves building and sustaining strong relationships with national and international industry partners to secure competitive placements aligned with those offered at top B-Schools. The incumbent will work closely with the Dean/Director to formulate and implement placement policies, strengthen industry engagement, and enhance student employability through internships, live projects, and corporate exposure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all placement activities for MBA and related programs
- Build and strengthen relationships with national and international corporate partners
- Target high-quality placement profiles comparable to those offered by leading B-Schools
- Formulate and implement placement policies in coordination with the Dean/Director
- Strengthen summer placements, internships, live projects, periodic projects, and corporate engagements
- Organize company visits, industrial visits, guest lectures, CEO series, and corporate interaction programs
- Develop and manage placement brochures, presentations, and promotional material
- Visit companies for promotion of students and academic programs
- Build industry interfaces for training programs, corporate projects, and skill development initiatives
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- MBA (2 years, full-time) from a leading national or international Management School
Professional Certifications
- Not mandatory; relevant certifications in Marketing, HR, Talent Management, or Leadership will be an added advantage
Professional Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in industry/corporate organizations in which 2–3 years at Middle Management level in Marketing and/or HR
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in educational institutions or the service sector
